JCC: War of the Roses
House of Lancaster
We begin in May of 1455, in the weeks leading up to the First Battle of St. Albans. Richard Plantagenet, Duke of York has recently stepped down from his position as the Lord Protector, which he held for ten months while King Henry VI struggled to overcome a bout of mental illness. The members of the Houses of Lancaster and York meet in separate rooms, preparing for an uneasy peace to break. When turmoil breaks out surrounding the line of succession, both Houses must plan their next moves to decide the fate of England. The two sides of the JCC must work with but also against each other in order to have their house under the throne.

Jada Lee
Jada Lee is a first-year Economics major from Vancouver, Canada. She has lived in Tokyo, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, and Boston. Jada started participating in MUN in Grade 8 after her friend signed her up for a conference without her knowledge, and continued after falling in love with the community. Her interests include fashion, cooking, hiking, cafe hopping, and museums. She is incredibly excited to meet all the people attending GauchoMUN.

Sofia Little is a first year Global Studies major from Palo Alto, California. She has been doing Model United Nations since her freshman year of high school and cannot wait for the rest of collegiate MUN! Outside of Model UN, Sofia spends her time drinking boba at least 3 times a week, reading on the beach, listening to music (primarily Childish Gambino), or studying on the 4th floor (arguably the best floor) of the library.

April Zhang
April Zhang is a third-year Environmental Studies and Sociology double major from Shenzhen, China. She has been involved in UCSB Model UN since her first year here, and has fallen in love with it ever since. Outside of MUN, you can catch April advocating for environmental causes, reading, watching movies and shows, and being an amateur photographer. After college, April plans to go to law school and become an environmental lawyer.
