Kate Granger
Kate is a second year political science major with an interest in pursuing international law after undergrad. She joined UCSB’s MUN team in the fall of her freshman year, and her love for the activity has only grown! Outside of MUN, you can catch Kate studying in the library, cafe hopping, writing, and petting her sweet dog Hazel. She looks forward to a great conference!

Pranav Gunhal
Pranav is a first year Computer Science major with an interest in regulating technology on an international level. Having also done MUN in high school, he joined UCSB’s MUN team during fall quarter of his freshman year. When he’s not studying, he enjoys reading, sketching around campus, binging the Big Bang Theory, and coding random projects. He is excited to serve as the Director General and hopes all delegates have as much fun attending the conference as he did helping plan it.

Palak Tandon
Palak is a first-year electrical engineering major with aspirations of pursuing a career in law after undergrad. With three years of high school Model United Nations (MUN) experience, she enthusiastically joined UCSB’s MUN team in the fall of her freshman year. Outside of MUN, you’ll often find Palak binge-watching Gilmore Girls, studying at the library, honing her skills in the dance studio, or exploring mythical worlds through captivating books. She looks forward to engaging with insightful ideas and contributing to a memorable and rewarding conference experience.

Ryan Ramirez
Ryan Ramirez is a first year Political Science major. He is from Orange County, California and has been doing Model United Nations since he was in seventh grade. Ryan is hoping to become an entertainment lawyer or a salesperson. Outside of MUN, Ryan works as a server and camp counselor. As well, Ryan enjoys playing pickleball and going out with friends.

Ruby Eilers
Ruby is a first year political science major from San Francisco. She joined just this fall and already loves the people, competing, and learning about the world from MUN. Outside of MUN, Ruby enjoys hanging out with friends, locking in around campus, and exploring all the restaurants and cafes around IV. She is so excited for Gaucho and can’t wait to watch all of you compete!

Sammy Ali
Sammy is a first-year Financial Mathematics and Statistics major from Cupertino, California. He joined MUN for the first time during the fall quarter after having participated in speech and debate since middle school and to further his delusion that he’s a humanities kid at heart, despite his math major. Outside of MUN, Sammy enjoys mountain biking (though he’s currently mourning the loss of his beloved mountain bike which was stolen last quarter), hiking, and rock climbing. He also loves journaling and having existential conversations with his philosophy major friend and his maniac cousin. Sammy looks forward to an exciting conference and some creative crisis arcs!

Sophia Brockmiller
Sophia Brockmiller is a first year political science major from Manhattan Beach, California. She began competing in MUN in college and has loved it ever since. After undergrad, Sophia hopes to pursue law school with the intent of becoming a corporate lawyer. In her freetime, she enjoys reading classical literature, knitting, and really anything to do with musical theatre.

Anthony Hernandez
I am a third-year Political Science and Sociology major from Roseville, California. In my free time, I enjoy staying active at the gym. I also have a passion for golfing and spending time with friends. Additionally, I have been participating in Model United Nations since last year.

Mila Villicana
Mila Villicana is a second-year Bio-psychology major from Redlands, California. She joined Model UN during her freshman year since everyone and their momma auditioned and she didn’t have a k-drama to watch at the moment. After graduating, she plans on getting into medical school to pursue a career in psychiatry and ball out. Outside of MUN, she enjoys bagelling her opponents on the tennis courts, playing interior design games, and FaceTiming her best friend Mark Lee.

Arli Andrews
Arli is a first year Physics and German major who hopes to work in fusion energy after graduation. Arli joined UCSB’s Model UN team during the first quarter of freshman year after two years of high school Model UN back in Bozeman, Montana, and loves historical crisis committees. Outside of the hustle and bustle of university, Arli can be found reading by the beach, drawing trees, studying Mandarin, hiking, or cooking!
